Carmen Data is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated web developer with a few years experience under their belt, to join our team.
As long as you have an understanding of how a web page is put together and an affinity for writing code then you'll fit the bill - we're mostly after your logical, analytical, programmer's mind.
About the Role
The role will involve developing websites, tools and systems for both us and automotive brands. You will also have the chance to both learn from the rest of the team and share your knowledge and expertise.
Our clients include Mercedes, Lexus, Toyota, Seat and Fiat and large automotive finance companies such as Ford Lease and Vauxhall Finance.
What you'll be doing:
Building responsive, performant websites
Understanding and improving our internal database and API
Expanding our new RESTful API
Working with our data team on internal administrative tools.
Liaising with clients from design through to deployment
Everyone who works there can cover the bases and switch jobs if there is a demand for it. You will spend most of your time writing code, but you could also be fixing the UI, looking for odd characters in the database or experimenting with new frameworks and methodologies.

Node.js, Server Side Scripting
Linux, Cloud Services, Webpack, Gulp, GitHub
Working at Carmen Data:
We are offering £25,000 to £40,000 dependent on ability and experience.
Normal hours of work are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday, but can be flexible.
